Product Information:
I've got this gun for a few years now and this was my first sniper rifle. This gun is quite heavy and shoots quite hard at first, so definitely look at buffing up if you plan on playing with this for an extended period of time. The hop-up is VSR10-like, meaning it is pretty much a VSR10 hop up BUT the difference is that the hop up is smaller in size, so a regular or after market VSR10 hop up would NOT fit. The hop up does take VSR10 buckings (I currently have a REAPS bucking installed) and I was able to install a Danger Werx arm as well. As with most sliding-adjustment hop up arm, BBs do tend to hook so look into doing the TDC mod. The barrel length is about 520 mm and takes VSR10 cut barrels (I have a 6.01, 517mm, Angel Custom M28 barrel in mine). Inner barrel does not have any barrel spacers. The trigger box (not really a box at all) does not appear to be anything I've ever seen (I have heard that it's quite like, if not the same, as the Classic Army M24 trigger box). The piston sear appears to be steel and is at 90 degrees engagement with the piston. The piston is metal and blue in color. The inner diameter of piston where the spring goes into is quite small (7mm I believe?) so if you're looking to replace the spring, make sure you get a smaller diameter one. Spring guide is metal but there are no bearings. The cylinder and cylinder head are NOT compatible with any other so do not scuff or destroy your cylinder head trying to take it off (and believe me, it's a pain to take off). I am unsure of any magazine compatibility at this point.

If you're looking for a M24 sniper rifle just to shoot around, surely consider this bad boy. Just know the after market parts aren't all quite there (or not quite tested anyways). I would also look at the Modify M24, the one that's marketed as pre-upgraded, if you can find it in stock somewhere.

Pros:
-Full metal which means hefty weight for the gun
-Shoots hard so obey those minimal engagement distance
-Fluted barrel adding to the physical appeal of the gun
-Internals are quite beefy

Cons:
-Full "pot" metal (this crap strips too easily so try not to torque anything down)
-Not many confirmation on compatible after market parts (no offense, but I wouldn't take ASGI's word for it. I guess, technically, you don't have to take my word for it either BUT....)

Rating: 4 of 5 Stars! [4 of 5 Stars!]
