The Echo 1 Troy Industries TRX10 is a great gun for short to medium engagement distances. Weighing in at about 6 1/2 pounds, this gun is substantial and solid but comfortable to carry and delivers high accuracy. The upper rail lets you mount optics for sighting in on your opponents so you can take full advantage of this weapon's deadly accuracy. Product Information:
I just bought this gun a week and a half ago, and I'm seriously unimpressed. This is my first airsoft gun, and I thought I was getting a huge deal. Like everyone else mentioned, the magazine is a waste. It won't feed right, it is difficult to get it to lock into place, and it rattles...alot. I planned on getting midcaps anyway, so I went ahead and bought it. It does not come with rail segments, so if you want attachments, that means more money. It takes open heart surgery to install the included battery, (get a new battery if you plan to keep this rifle, as the included battery is only a 800 or 1,000 mah) and I have to cram the lid shut on the stock afterwards, and it feels like I'm pinching the wires, sure enough, I am. I've looked up videos on youtube, and I watched one specifically made by the manufacturer, and I am STILL struggling to fit the included battery into the stock properly; I have yet to suceed. The charging handle feels incredibly cheap and the dust cover was poorly designed. When I open the dust cover to adjust the hop-up, it feels like I'm going to rip the charging handle out of the rifle, so I have to be extremely gentle, and when I go to close the dust cover, it latches shut with a plastic tab. On my real AR-15, I can shut the dust cover easily, but I have to either take something like a paper clip and push that tab down to close the dust cover, or I just push the dust cover until it clicks shut. I believe that over time, that plastic tab will break, causing your dust cover to remain open, exposing your piston and hop up to the elements. The gun looks so cool, the iron sights are clear and awesome looking, as does the handguard, and when I test fired the weapon, I got outstanding trigger response and a decent rate of fire from the partially charged 8.4v battery the gun came with. The guts of the gun are also supposed to be rock solid and incredibly reliable PLUS it's lipo ready. However, these features are just not enough to make me want to spend $220 on the weapon. If you're going to spend that much, you might as well spend the extra $20 and get the KWA VM4A1, KWA is known for their outstanding reliability, and I believe that is what I'll invest into. I strongly regret buying this rifle, and I haven't even had it long, I WILL be returning this, as I am not satisfied with my purchase based on initial impressions. I apologize for being "that guy" Airsoft Gi. I am not trying to just complain about my product I recieved, I just don't want anyone else to make the mistake I did.

Magazine fitment
Having difficulty finding mid caps that will fit this gun, tried G&P, O-Mags, Elite Arms and nothing works. They often fit in the gun but don't feed at all.

Rail Segments
I have spent hours searching for rail segments that work for this gun. I have found none yet. Can anyone please provide a link? I am getting frustrated as this advertises a TRX rail but does not work with trx railsegments
