The Tenergy Smart Charger is a great portable and simple charger. Using a smart charger gives the user a much faster charge time and won't damage your battery by overcharging by automatically stopping when your battery is fully charged by detecting delta peaks. After the battery has completed its charge the charger goes into trickle charge mode to maintain a full charge on the battery without overcharging it. This charger also features short circuit and reverse polarity protection to further ensure user safety. If you are looking for a high quality but low cost charger for your 8.4 or 9.6 NiMH battery pack then look no further!

Product Information:
Its a smart chargerÂ… for $15. you can't really beat the price. If you are starting out, buy this. it has trickle charge mode so it won't destroy your batteries. It's not going to be your favorite charger, but it get's it done. Not lightning fast, no real indictor besides a green or red light.
Pros:
-Price. you really can't beat it for a smart charger.
-Trickle Charge Mode. I know it's safe for my batteries
Cons:
(These cons are besides the fact it's only $15. if you want to "include" the price on these cons, then there are absolutely 0 cons)
-No ETA charging (besides doing some math)
-No multi display. it either shows its charging or it's done

I Have Had A Lot Of experience with battery charging and i think it would take about and hour and a half at the most but i havent used a wall charger in a long time i have an RC Battery charger for RC batteries and airsoft etc. RCs are hobby grade remote control vehicles look up traxxas.
