The NC STAR 3-9x40E Scope with Illuminated Crosshair is a perfect solution to magnified optics on your airsoft gun. Similar to the leapers 3-9x40 scope, it's adjustable for windage and elevation, and magnifies from 3-9x. This scope comes with see through lens covers and scope rings, everything you need to use it. The Crosshair illuminates red for pinpoint accuracy when shooting on a dark target.

As scopes go, this one is a pretty fair value. I have it mounted on my SPR and it hasn't failed me yet. It looks good and performs fairly, although the illumination is somewhat useless. The included rings are an added bonus.
Pros:
Pros:
-Obviously, the scope can zoom, a feature I appreciate.
-Cosmetically, it looks good on a rifle. The magnification dial, turrets, and illumination adjustment break up the body's profile and frankly, make it look expensive.
-Comes with the Weaver rings.
-Dials in relatively easily with a spare dime.
-It's not really necessary, but it has 11 levels of illumination.
-Comes with a battery.
Cons:
Cons:
-The thought of having BBs flying neat the lens scares me. I'd use the included covers during the game, but they're tinted an odd green, so sooner or later I'll get a lens shield.
-There's no good way to adjust focus, so after about 5-6X the image becomes somewhat fuzzy. It's not an issue for aiming (who needs 9X magnification in airsoft?) but if you're trying to recon a position it becomes annoying.
-The illumination really isn't too useful during night games. I'd prefer a laser mounted to the rifle over an illuminated crosshair.
NC STAR 3-9x40E Scope
Need to scan the field for your teammates or pick-off some enemies from far with your DMR? The NC STAR 3-9x40E Scope is perfect for the job. I've used this with my MK12 Mod 1 and the scope is very clear and zooms in more than enough for airsoft. I use a Speed Optic shield to protect this because you need to protect optics like these.
Pros:
*Scope is very Clear and HD like.
*Durable and well built
*3x-9x Zoom smooth dial transition.
*Illuminated Crosshair
*Elevation and Windage adjustment
*Perfect for Field games
Cons:
*May need to change to higher scope rings if youre running a lower steel facemask.
*Other than height adjustment, No cons.
Great scope for price. Comes with scope rings. Illuminated with windage and elevation dials and see thru scope covers. Very durable and has a quick zoom dial.
Pros:
Illumination and overall scope price were very satisfying. Scope rings included. Best first sniper scope for anyone to use.
Cons:
The see thru scope covers are not a tight fit like I wish they were. Scope rings do sit alittle low.
