I'd like to say I'm not a "verified buyer" because I bought this handy sight at my local field opposed to the website. Besides that however, I've played a few games with it and it really is great. No need to worry about masks or mesh getting in the way because the riser is top notch and a perfect high. It also clears the front sight post on m4 style rifles. It has five settings of brightness for green and red dots. Included is a battery which is easy to install. The best thing I must say is the sight took a direct hit from a hot shooting sniper in my first game and it didn't even scratch. It's unbelievably durable and it's all around great. The sight itself is pretty tiny and lightweight, but also doesn't look stupid or tacky on longer rifles.
Pros:
- Light
- Sturdy
- Takes direct hits to the glass without breaking
- Included battery and quick release mount
- Made of aluminum. I've dropped it in mud and water and fallen on it with all of my body weight and it hasn't broken.
- 5 levels of red and green brightness
- yeah
Cons:
- Only thing I can think of is the further away you mount the sight on your rail the harder the dot is to see. This is kind of disappointing because it is usually better to mount red dot reflex sights as far away from your eye as possible. Other than that it's good.
I would like to start of by saying that this sight is very nice and fun to play with. It does not look intrusive on m4 style rifles and it looks ok on ak style rifles without the riser mount. HOWEVER the review below me written by D. Wainwright is incorrect when it says: "Takes direct hits to the glass without breaking" I can tell you that it does NOT take hits to the glass. On my SECOND DAY OF PLAYING AIRSOFT this thing took a hit to the glass from 35 feet away by a stock CM.028c and cracked the WHOLE LENS! The sight still works and you can still see the dot (because the lens that broke was the glass protector of the reflective lens that reflects the dot back to your eye) but it looks like looking through a thick spider web. On a different note, the QD mount is nice for putting it on and off, but makes the sight kinda wobbly. It does include what looks like something to make it a standard mount but I don't know because I've only had it for like 5 days. If you've read this far, and want a good red/green dot sight, get the one without the QD mount. Also, make sure you get a lens protector. (Evike, although they make me nauseated, sell a lens protector for T1 style reflex sights made by Wii Tech(?) for $13.) Over all ok sight, just don't be misguided by the other reviewer.
Pros:
-Red and green dots (more handy than you think)
-Five brightness settings per color
-Easy on easy off
-Comes with a standard mount and a riser mount (great for full face pro)
-Small and non-intrusive
-Comes with battery
-Paralex free
Cons:
-Wobbly mount (get the standard mount one, it's less money anyway)
-Lens broke on second time playing (sucks 'cuz I'm a beginner) going to see if Airsoft Gi can help me
-I paid $65 for something that broke (terrible because I'm a beginner)
-I have no way of aiming my gun now
-I was fooled by the other reviewer :(
Over all 4 stars mainly because the mount is wobbly. (not counting that the lens broke, kinda my fault because I didn't by a lens protector)
I like this T1 replica. Sights in nicely, and I don't have to readjust it like some other red dots in the past. I have it mounted in front of a 3x magnifier, and they work perfectly together!
