The Walther SG9000 CO2 Shotgun is a very robust and unique airsoft gun. This gun is powered by a humongous 88g CO2 cartridge. It is semi automatic with 3 fire modes, safe, one round shot, and 3 round shot. The magazine is internal and is fed through the side of the gun. The double action trigger loads the BB and fires the CO2, propelling a .20g BB to about 380 feet per second. Most of the construction of the SG9000 is polymer but it does feature some metal internals, a metal barrel, and metal trigger. The pistol grip is very comfortable and the top and side rails are ideal for mounting accessories like sights, lasers, and flashlights. This is a great airsoft gun for target plinking or having fun with the friends and family, it is not highly recommended fro competitive airsoft play.

Quick backround on me; I've been playing airsoft for 12 years. I'm not only a player but a collector. I own 18 guns, as of present. I have bought and sold an unknown number of airsoft weapons. I have just picked up this little shotty out of curiousity =P
First off, it showed in the typical plain brown box from Airsoft G.I. Inside I found the SG9000 in a plastic bubble container, simular to some you will find at Walmart. Alittle discuraging at first sight. After removing it from it's bubble protection, I was pleased to find the contruction was quite sturdy. There is zero tweek and wiggle in the all plastic body. The safety switch is a little stiff at first, but easily moved from safe to single to three round burst. The only slight wiggle I found was in the fowardgrip where the 88g. CO2 bootle is stowed. I mean VERY slight. The forward grip is easy to access for CO2 bottle installation. The trigger pull is strong but managable.
On my first attempt to load the 88g CO2 bottle I had trouble seating it. I lubricated the threads of the bottle and had no problem getting it to seated after that. My personal chrono, which has been tested against 3 others, showed the first 3 rounds were at 380 fps. I took it out back and did some target practice. At 25 feet, zeroing my red dot, Shot for shot, the bb's were hitting the same hole. At 50 feet, the gun was still on mark with the reddot. After 50 feet, the BB's took dramatic drops. There is no adjustable hopup on this system, there for I'm stuck with my 50 foot range. However, I'm not too concerned about this. I think it will still make an interesting secondary backup. Yes I'm going to try it as a last resort weapon this weekend.
Lastly, I chronoed it again after shooting 180 rds. It was at an average of 330 fps. I have yet to find how many rounds this 88g CO2 bottle will push out, but I will let you all know soon. If you are looking for an affortable semi auto backup or just another cool oddity for your collect (like me) this is a cool addition to any arsonal. Happy Hunting ! F.E.A.R. 36 out!
Pros:
Solid Body/ No Tweeks
Easy to load with any speed loader
High fps on fresh bottle
~300 rds per bottle capible (estimate right now)
Spread is about 8" at 50 ft.
Three round bust fast firing will cover a large area for last ditch situation
Loud !!! I will get their heads down when you need it to.
Rail system is reg size. Red dots, vertical grips, lasers and flash lights will fit.
Awesome fit in the Condor shotgun sheath.
It looks cool !
Cons:
50 foot max range (at least on mine) .20g BB's drop fast after 50ft.
No Hopup system.
Single barrel design.
Wish they made a model with a full stock on it.
Fast fire will lead to freazing the seal which could cause seal leakage.
88g CO2 bottles are about $5.00 per at walmart.
