The VISM Gen. 2 DP Red Dot Sights offer a new take on an old design from NC Star/VISM. Made now from high durability aluminum, the DP series of red dots feels extremely solid, unlike the earlier polymer versions. The sight reticule is switched on and off by a single brightness ON/OFF switch, and the single CR2032 that powers the sight is accessible from a rubber cap on the left side of the sight.

This is a GREAT starter red dot it is AMAZING for the price and looks cool! It come with a spare battery a cleaning cloth and a screwdriver for the mount
Pros:
Affordable
Looks cool
Very easy to adjust I had mine sighted in, in a minute
Comes with everything you need to use it.
Cons:
None realy you can't beat it for the price!
I purchased this to put on my Lancer LT-02T and couldn't be happier. I wasn't expecting much for a cheap red dot, but it is simple, sturdy and accurate. Also, it matched the tan color of my Lancer perfectly. It has held up to a month or so of use.
Pros:
Simple to install and zero in
Sturdy
Came with an extra battery and cleaning cloth
Cons:
None that I'm aware of yet.
Time will tell if it lasts longer than the Lancer.
this product is a good one, that said it has some things you ought to know about before you consider it. i havent played with it on the field, i cannot attest to its durability, it is aluminum, but there are some plastic components. the sight itself is sits higher than some sights i have used before, perfect if you use a full mask during a game. the dot reflection is acually pretty consistent, usually a perfect circle. i had issues with the placement on ther rail, i got this for an ak with a gas tube mount, i seems the further from your eye this optic gets relative to your eye, the larger the dot appears within the rectangular box, this could disorient some people. windage and elevation are adjustable but there arent any detent balls (so it doesnt click on adjustment), therefore you may have to adjust zero periodically. it will slide on the rails if it isnt tight, so watch out for that. you really get your 20bucks-worth here, get one, they are good enough for most.
Pros:
-lightweight
-great finish
-good dot projection
-inexpensive
-good looking sight
-easy zeroing
Cons:
-dot projection widens with distance from eye
-seems fragile, but at the price i dont really care
-slides off rail if not tightened snug
-no tools included (but they do come with a pair of batteries :) )

Staff Answer:
If you use the sight correctly by keeping both eyes open, there is no need to have the sight sit higher than the front sight post. 3199 days ago 0
