TheVFC Full Metal Combat Master SR15-E3 16" is an exceptional airsoft gun designed for those that demand the utmost realism and attention to detail from their AEG. The barrel is made of metal and has a firm foundation against the upper receiver. The rail is CNC machined from aluminum and it sits flush with the upper receiver. To protect your hands VFC has included 3 hard cover rail panels. The body is also very well made from high quality aluminum. At the rear of the lower receiver, on both sides, are QD sling mounting points. Every single function of the gun is ambidextrous, the magazine release, bolt release, and fire selector. The crane stock is wired to house the battery and hide the wires. The rear iron sight is adjustable for elevation, and the front sight is actually built into the top rail on the RIS. In order to emulate a real gun the pistol grip has been made slimmer that most other AEGs. No other company has been able to match VFCs attention to detail, and this AEG is evidence of their skill.

I got this gun last week and took it to a game and compared it to my G&G. So go through the pros and cons and then back up here for final thoughts....
Over all it is a great gun despite the cons which most can be fix with a little bit of money and working on a few things, most of the cons are there because for the price I would expect these things not to have been there and others were just in passing.
This is my first VFC and I REALLY like this gun a lot! I plan on working on it to make it what I want it to be.
One thing though, the FPS when chronoed (?) was shooting 400-430 FPS which depending on the field, you will not be able to use it (.25 bbs). So I don't know if that is a pro or a con to you?
But over all it is a good gun, but in my opinion I think that G&G is better (their bodies feel more reliable, they shoot great, better range, more accurate, and they just work!)

Pros:
This gun is very light even though it is metal
love the monolithic rail
came with a black flash hider
has a very high rate of fire
all the features work as they should

Cons:
the right selector switch is wobbly
the hop-up bucking is REALLY soft
crane stock is a little wobbly as well but ok
the crane stock/battery placement is ok but could be better
rail covers are a MASSIVE pain to get off
not the most accurate gun, but a tighter barrel will fix it no problem (I saw 6.03, a 6.01 might be too tight for this guns high rate of fire).
the mag feels cheap but metal

I just picked up this gun from airsoft gi today and iv been saveing up for this gun for ever..i finnally got it and i have to say its impressive my older brothers friend saw this and i let him hold it and play with the mag release and he was amazed the acurracy as well deffinatly recommend optics

had to fix the selector thats why im up late the semi wasnt working the trigger whouldent pull
kinda wobbly magweld but its easy to slap in mags

I've had this gun for about a month now, used it in about 5 games, and it's amazing.Shoots about 400 FPS, high rate of fire with 9.6 volt stick type battery. The 1 high cap magazine it comes with sucks, it worked great for a week or two then it just crapped out, but that's not a big deal, the gun it self works perfect very durable. It has a functional bolt catch which I thought was pretty cool. And fully ambidextrous.
