New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
Vega Force Company was founded in 2004, worldwide reputed by its professional on making highly realistic Airsoft replica with custom grade performance of internal mechanical design, which makes end users have better shooting and operating experience. What more than that is every VFC Airsoft products are in the standard of collection grade with strong and nice surface finishing. "Collectors wanted and operators wanted" is the motto for VFC's products.
The VFC Full Metal M4 Defender is a new step down a road not commonly traveled by VFC. The Vega Force Company is well known in the airsoft industry for making high quality AKs and the highly sought after SCAR variants. Now they have embarked on journey to perfect the M4 and its many alternative forms. This new Full Metal M4 Defender has an exquisite exterior, something VFC has always done well. The body is a cool matte black with beautiful laser engraving on the side. The VFC Shield and Helmet are clearly visible on the left side of the magazine well. The free float 4" RIS hand guard is an excellent platform for mounting accessories like lights, lasers, and vertical grips. The crane stock is of realistic built quality and balances the gun perfectly by holding the battery. However, VFC didn't just stop at a wonderful exterior, the gearbox operation is smooth and hitting at a very consistent 330-340 FPS. This is an all-around amazing CQB AEG. It's amazing that VFC can offer this amazing looking and performing gun with an extra spring for the same price as a plastic, flimsy, Tokyo Marui.

Got this M4 Cause I'm not such a big fan of the bigger m4/m16's since I've used a p90 for 4 years. Always wanted to own a VFC and finally got one.
Great gun, very sturdy build, all is metal so it just feels like it will last when you hold it. Stock, out of the box is great for more CQB type fields, but with a longer barrel installed, you can go straight to field with it.
Pros:
Good build
Metal
Crane stock isn't bulky
Cons:
No battery
They say the bolt catch is functional(as in, you can release it?! on the vid) but mine doesn't even move at all. The charging handle does work though.

I have used this as my main cqb and field gun for a while now, and while the fps (330ish) is a tad weenie-ish, the hopup is championlike and more than makes up. Accuracy is incredible. Had a guy pinned down at a good 20 yards once, and kept drilling the same exact spot where his head once peeked out. He literally yelled "holy crap" seeing this. Needless to say, he didnt even try popping back out.
Externals are great on VFC. I own a lot of real guns; several ar15's. Sitting next to them, this gun is basically indistinguishable. I run mine with a quick-release gemtech can (gives it the perfect length) and a browning red-dot sight. Slap an angled foregrip on it and it feels like a dream.
Great lower-cost VFC m4, and great AEG in general. Well worth the $. Light, delendable and well made, outside and in.
Pros:
-Excellent externals/internals.
-Nice steel sights and rail covers included. Bolt release actually works, which is a nice, realistic touch.
-Good accuracy despite short barrel length.
Cons:
There's really only a few minor gripes, and I feel silly listing them, but here goes:
-Caps on the front of crane-stock, for keeping nunchuks from sliding out the front, come out easily and get lost. Had to replace them with hair-spray covers (which though ghetto, worked well)
-FPS was not as listed. Mine shot around 330.
-Had to cut a little aluminum to allow quick-release can to clear front sight-post.
-once in a while, gear box locks up on auto, and you have to switch to semi to fire gun and keep playing. A lot of AEG's seem to do this.
