Although the CYMA Full Metal G2 may be adequate for a display piece or prop, there are much better options that are still affordable. A spring shotgun such as the AGM Full Stock Spring Shotgun Airsoft Gun which comes in at only $29.99 features a much more realistic action as well as a much higher build quality. For a $47 more you can purchase a very reliable and skirmishable shotgun such as the Fire Power Multi-Shot Spring Shotgun
which features a very durable polymer body as well as 3 shot burst to better replicate a shotgun. Although, if you are set on purchasing a 1911 type airsoft gun you should save up a purchase a Gas blow back 1911, GBB airsoft guns are the most realistic guns you can buy. As previously stated, this gun is not field ready due to its low performance. Although due to its realistic look and features, this gun is a great choice for use in film productions or as a great display piece. Please do not expect to be able to compete with high quality airsoft guns while using this low cost airsoft gun. This gun is not serviceable and does not include a warranty of any kind.

this gun looks, sounds and feels cool. At first, the slide was kind of hard to pull back but it loosens up very quickly. The bbs that it came with.... are complete crap. You know how you'll be eating a bag of m&m's and one or two will come mutated and are paired together, a few came just like that. They're not seamless, and they also claim to be 6mm... but don't use them, they're complete crap. Even with good, elite force 6mm, bbs the shots curved a bit at 6ft, at 15ft the bbs did not hit the target. If you're going to use this gun in a game, you better use it when the enemy is less than 15ft away, or else you'll miss and get hit. besides all the negatives you should get it just for clearing out very small rooms/areas. By the way it doesnt seem ambidextrous.

All I can say is, this item is a joke if you want to be using it for actual shooting. The first time I shot this pistol, nothing happened. When I tilted the pistol downward slightly, the bb fell out of the chamber. Further attempts at shooting the pistol produced:
No bbs shot
Multiple bbs shot
bbs falling out
The slide soon got stuck, the magazine cracked open, and the gun was utterly unusable.
