Tru Spec TRU Tactical Response 1/4 Zip Combat Shirt 50/50 Nylon Cotton (Woodland - OD Green/Regular/Option)
[20573]The Tru-Spec Combat Shirt is the perfect blend of a high durability BDU and the comfort of a base layer. The Tru-Spec Combat Shirt features BDU style sleeves that include the same features that you would find on a standard BDU such as zippered pockets with Velcro, reinforced elbows, and adjustable cuff closure. The body of the Tru-Spec Combat shirt consists of a nylon/cotton blend base layer, which unlike a regular BDU, is very breathable, light and is able to wick away moisture almost 3 times faster then cotton. The Tru-Spec Combat Shirt is perfect for a Spec-ops style load out or for anybody that likes the look of a standard BDU but also needs the comfort and mobility of a base layer.

This is overall a decent product. I'd rather give it a 3.5 out of 5 because my opinion of it is mostly positive. I bought this item because I want my arms to be protected but live in the south and therefore still need something breathable. It gets the job done. You're still going to be warm, but not as warm as you'd be with a blouse style shirt. The zipper is a plus. The arms are durable, as one would expect from a combat shirt. The middle, however, does not hold up as well. After a single use some of the fabric had gotten torn up.
Pros:
1. Keeps you cool.
2. Durable arms.
3. The cuffs can be adjusted.
4. Chest Zipper.
5. Made to be able to wear chest gear with.
6. Velcro
Cons:
My only complaint is the quality of the material used for the chest. It is maybe too thin. For the price of the shirt you would expect better. Very disappointing. I'd say that if you wear this then to be careful while in the woods so that a branch doesn't snag on an exposed area of the shirt middle, which is likely what happened to me.
