The Tokyo Marui M4A1 SOCOM Next Gen AEG uses Tokyo Marui's own "Shoot and Recoil" system, dubbed the "Next Generation Recoil Shock" system, or NGRS for short. This rifle utilizes a heavily modified V2 design to incorporate a unique recoil system that provides a kinetic feedback to the user for every shot fired. This system uses a plunger rod that is actuated by the piston upon cycling, allowing a recoil weight in the buffer tube to move back and forth. One thing to note about this rifle is that it shoots the Japanese velocity limit of .9 Joules, or roughly 300FPS. This makes this rifle perfect for CQB. This rifle is wired to the front and works best on 7.4v lithium polymer batteries.
