The Systema Molybdenum Pinion Gear is the only pinion gear made out of such high quality metal. Molybdenum in it's purest form is a chrome color and it is commonly used in airplanes and automobiles because of its ability to withstand high stress and high temperatures. Coming from Systema you'd expect the best and this really is the best material to make a pinion gear, makes you wonder why other companies don't do the same thing.

Product Information:
Very good gear. I had to replace my systema gear (I didnt place the motor in right). This gear is very strong and durable. Its easy to install after you get the old one off. Overall I give this gear 5 star its the best.

correct, molybdenum is a very strong rare earth metal, this pinion can definatley handle the rotations and and stress that a magnum can put on its pinion (my old one broke from the stress)
however this pinion is useless if you end up like me and owning a magnum with a stripped lock screw in the pinion. not only is it impossible to remove, but also almost impossible to drill out without ruining the magnum itself.
Pros:
much better than the forged steel pinions i use on my EG1000s (and those are good pinions)

good design and mesh with bevel gear

a bltch to replace should your screw lock strip.
