The G&G Full Metal SG 550 (Swiss Arms Licensed) Airsoft Gun is an excellent replication of its SIG counterpart. The SIG Sauer 550 series of assault rifles is the main battle rifle for Switzerland, and this SIG 550 for airsoft will be your main weapon as well when you need the most realistic option available. Most of the construction of the Swiss Arms SG550 is metal, including the flash suppressor and sight. But the few plastic parts it has, such as the stock and handguard, are high-quality thick ABS plastic This AEG airsoft rifle has a functional bolt catch with a very stiff spring for a realistic and satisfying noise.
Part of G&G's Top Tech series of airsoft assault rifles, the SIG 550 black AEG has a Version 2 gear box with 6mm oil-less bearings and high-torque motor. The magazine capacity is set at a realistic 30 rounds, and it features the extended follower to ensure that the user shoots all of the BBs before having to reload. Your BBs will fly at up to 400 FPS velocity with a hop-up adjustment to make sure they sail true to their target. The folding stock is sturdy when extended and out of the way when folded, ideal for cutting tight corners and storage. Product Information:
I thought I was taking something of a risk when I bought this but I've waited so long for a new SG 550. When it arrived I was very impressed with the build. The metal construction is nice and durable, even the plastic is high quality. It also came with a 1400 mah 9.6v Ni-MH battery which was a surprise to me. Figuring out how to get the battery in was not hard, but getting the rotating piece back on the front was difficult and I'm not sure if I put it back right. When I went to fire it the selector switch on the left side fell off, which was annoying but will be fixed when I get a small enough allen wrench. It fires great though, very strong and the sights are easy to use. With the 9.6v battery the ROF is awesome. The internals I have not looked at yet, but it is supposed to be easy to take down so when I get around to it I will check them out. I have yet the use it is a skirmish, but just shooting at targets it has done very well. The magazine it came with is also very well constructed but is real cap. I took the internals out of a JG SIG mag and put in it, because the JG would not fit. It was a job but the results were pleasing; the amber coloured magazine looks great. Overall it is a great gun but has its faults.

great gun love it. the fps and rof (750 rpm) combination is amazing. with .20 bbs (i use echo 1) this thing for beaing a maching gun is scare acurate. the size and wait is a problem thow. the barl is to long and its very top hevy. the folding stock can shorten it up but even then its still big. the stock mag sucks so get the high cap mags for it. the fire selector on mine is a little weird, somtimes when you are fireing in semi then paus for a second it wonte fire, but that is easly fixt by switching to fully and fire like 2 shots the switch back down into semi then it will work.
