The Spartan Delta Series Full Metal AEG AK-74N is definitely a great option for players looking for a classic style AK. This incredibly robust rifle is made in the same factory that makes real steel AK-47 parts and emulates the weight and solid feel of the real rifle, even down to the smell of gun oil. Not only does this rifle feel like quality, it also performs amazingly with a V3 Gearbox that features a quick change spring. Featured on this rifle is beautifully made real wood front grips and full stock. Included is a 120rd Bakelite AK74 magazine. It's full length and durable build make this a perfect fit for any airsoft play style.

So I had been in the market for a high quality AK series rifle for a long time and was dead set on the new 74 style ones (I'm a sucker for that flashhider). Anyways I had searched all over the internet looking at LCT and E&L AK's but unfortunately could find none in stock stateside. Fortunately these came out. Essentially what this series is, is a rebrand of the now legendary E&L series ak's, famous for their incredibly high quality externals, decent internals, and incredible resilience. I have taken this rifle to the field several times now and not only do I love the beefy weight of the steel and wood body, but it's performance was quite exceptional. I own several other good quality airsoft rifles such as a Tippmann M4, Krytac CRB, and a vfc modified with an SMP, and this is on par with them right out of the box. With .28 Valken Bio BB's I can hit torso sized targets consistently at around 200 feet. Recently I took this out to SC Village and found that I outranged almost every other player there. Now being able to toss a bb out long range is alright but if it can do it accurately well that makes all the difference. I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy of this rifle that I would expect out of a properly tuned DMR. All in all I have recommended this rifle to my friends in the market for a high quality ak that doesn't break the bank.
Pros:
Good performance out of box
200 ft effective range
Really consistent
Amazing externals
Cheaper than most high end ak's on the market
Cons:
Some screws may need slight tightening upon unboxing
Battery compartment is smaller than on most ak's

Staff Answer:
E&L magazines are the best fit, but the polymer style AK mags from Classic Army also work well: https://www.airsoftgi.com/product/Classic-Army-500rd-AK74-High-Capacity-AEG-Magazine-1367/ 2426 days ago 0
