The release of the SOCOM Gear 1911 MEU has been high anticipated by those that know what this pistol is. To the untrained eye it may look like just another 1911 but it is ,in fact, much more. The SOCOM Gear 1911 MEU features a full metal body, upgraded iron sights for easier aiming, front cocking serrations on the slide, comfortable grips, ambidextrous safety for right and left handed users. Also for enhanced looks SOCOM Gear has added and engraved slide, lower frame and chamber; as well as a 3 hole trigger, skeleton hammer, and beaver tail.

I'm a fan of suppressed firearms. I think they look cool, sound cool, etc.
That's why I was very disappointed when I found that this item does not come with a threaded barrel DESPITE all the pictures, reviews, and comparison chart!
Now I'll have to get the conversion kit! I contacted the sales and info emails and got no reply. Why wouldn't they change the picture or specify whether or not it has the threaded barrel? I've been swindled.

I got this pistol a few years ago when I was just starting airsoft it still works to this day with no mods its got a good weight and comfortable feel and performs great

I got this pistol a few years ago when I was just getting started in airsoft and I loved it as soon as I put it in my hands it had a comfortable feel and weight but I was a little disappointed when it didn't have the threaded barrel like in the picture but it performed great and I still use it to this day i might even buy another one as a spare
