I bought this goggles with really high expectations, with them being Smith Optics and all, really encouraged by the reviews and everything. I was EXTREMELY let down. The foam ripped, goggles would not unfog no matter how hard a ran against the wind, and they completely let me down.
Pros:
Lens is solid, hard to scratch
Look cool
Thats pretty much it
Cons:
The very first GAME I used these, they were fogged horribly before we even started, and got a lot worse as the game progressed (note, the vents were a 100% open the whole time) Every time i died i had to wipe the insides with my dead rag. the one time I wiped them by pulling them off my face slightly and sticking my finger inside, the foam ripped off the goggles almost all the way around the whole lens. NOT worth $40, when Save phace has a beautiful pair of non fogging MUCH more comfortable goggles for $30.
I recently purchased a pair of these to use during Reclamation 3 on the weekend of 5/18/14, as I was expecting them to work great. Got out to the field and they started fogging up right away. These goggles will create more of a safety risk when running in typical airsoft weather. Not only did they fog but the nob on the left side of the vent slide broke on the first day of wearing them.
Pros:
The Pros for these are that they are slim fit, look great and the ignitor tint works really well in high sunlight areas.
Cons:
The Cons are the price, the fogging, they break easily & with the ignitor color it was difficult to differentiate the difference between Multicam and Woodland from 100 yards in the shade.
Fogged up on me in less than a minute of use. Indoor airsoft. I ended up switching to a thermal mask which worked great
Pros:
Good close tight fit
Low profile
Cons:
Fogging
Uncomfortable
