I have had this balaclava for a while now and it continues to impress me. Considering my location (Syracuse, NY), this is the ideal mask/balaclava for not only cold weather, but also BB protection. I have been shot in the lips wearing this and although the mask is quite thin, you can notice that it hurts at a moderate scale as opposed to the fury of Satan reigning fiery pain on your face if you were not wearing anything. I would recommend this balaclava to anyone.

Breathable
Very warm
Protective
Fits nicely under head protection/hats
Cons:
May fog your goggles in the summer (no biggie)
Sometimes is hard to breathe but this happens rarely
