Description:
Sear sets are responsible for keeping the piston locked back until you are ready to fire. When you pull the bolt back on your spring sniper rifle you pull the entire cylinder assembly with it. The piston sear then catches onto the back of the piston. When you push the bolt forward the piston stays locked to the back of the cylinder by the piston sear. When you pull the trigger on your spring sniper rifle the trigger sear pushes on the piston sear to release the piston, which fires the BB. Cheaply made, or soft, sear sets can break under the stress of the spring, which is why having a good quality sear set is so important to your spring sniper rifle's operation.

The PE Reinforced Heat Treated Sear Set for MK96 has finally arrived! Until now high quality upgraded sear sets for the MK96 have been nearly non existent. Our MK96 Sear Set was engineered in house by our Airsoft GI Tech team and then sent out to our local machinist, these sear sets were developed and created right here in California. These sear sets are created completely out of high quality steel and then heat for durability. The heat treating process hardens the metal, making it more resistant to wear and tear. Even if you do not plan on increasing the muzzle velocity of your MK96 you should still upgrade your stock MK96 sear sets with these high quality sears.

  • Professional installation is recommended. Improper use or installation of upgrade parts are 99% of the time the cause of failures of these items.
