Pantac USA 1000D Cordura Active Shooter Chest Rig (OD Green)
[06923 / VT-C016-OD-A]The Pantac Active Shooter Chest Rig is a very busy piece of gear. There is no molle at all on the entire thing, but there are numerous dedicated pouches to get you through your mission. Front and center are the magazine pouches, they are made to hold 2 M4 magazines which means you can carry up to 8 at a time. In front of each M4 pouch is a smaller pouch that can be used for a variety of purposes. On the left and right side of the magazine pouches are medium sized utility pouches, both of these pouches have elastic tops which make them ideal to use as a dump pouch. Behind the dump pouch is an open top pouch that secures with a strap and plastic buckle, and on the front of the dump pouch is a small pouch (possibly made for grenades). The shoulder straps are padded and adjustable and they have Velcro panels that would be perfect to hold the straw of a hydration carrier. This is a great rig to hold your magazines and more!

this vest is amazing. now i got it off a different site, but it is the most amazing chest rig i have ever used. and i have used at least 5 or 6 now, including army surplus, condor, vietnam era, and a crappy evike one. and this one is the best of them all. now im about 5'7'' and it still fits me. it has 4 mag pouches which hold 2 m4, 4mp5, and one ak and g36 type. it has 2 pistol mag pouches which you can really use because the strap is not long enough, it will fit 226 style mags but not m9. it has 3 small utility pouches in front of the mag pouches which really bug me. cause they cant fit mags, but they are open top so if you put a small item like a flashlight in there it will fall out when running. it has 2 big utility pouches that fit almost anything. they come with elastic covers so you wont lose anything. i used to use the one on my left as a dump pouch and i didnt use the covers. my two G&P m4 mags with magpuls fell put when i was running to cover in the middle of an ambush. so that sucks. then there are two pouches under those utility pouches. i use them for my pistol and a radio. it is made of 1000D cordura so it is ment to last. but it also makes it heavy for a chest rig. not to much of a down side. but if you've been walking all day with this fully loaded. if you could take out a could take out 4 or 5 oz so it will be lighter, i would pay you. but thats what you get for durability another thing that sucks is that when we cleaned out my basement i lost the buckle for the back.
Pros:
lots of space
holds 8 m4 mags
fits well
breaths well since there is no back
goes around your waist not your chest
durable
can add pistol pouches to the straps in the front
Cons:
heavy for a chest rig
lost back strap
pistol mags too small
Excellent rig, holds a ton of stuff. Also very comfortable because of the H-harness in the back, the straps don't dig in like the X style straps.
This rig is a well made replica of the LBT 1961a, which retails for $250+
Pros:
Comfortable
Holds a lot
Very breathable
Looks good
Cons:
Using AK47 mags, you cant close the flaps because the mags stick up too much.
Otherwise, nothing.
