this bipod is VERY bad. please do yourself a favor and save up for a Harris Bipod. This was a gift from a family member for the holidays and i am sad they wasted their money. This bipod does not fit my KJW M700 or airsoft GI G700, or the G&G G96, but I dont think its supposed to. the mounting hardware is very weak as well, and parts started ti, well, come apart and fall off within a day of it being out of the box. the only good news is that I had an old RIS bipod that I drilled a hole into... I took the mounting screw off of this bipod and just screwed it into my KJW M700, sandwiching my other bipod, which is pretty effective. Its so tight that nothing but an allen key or a vise grip will make it come off. Hmm... Maybe I should just sell that for $40 and call myself RL-STAR. This is the second bipod form NcStar that I have owned, both have failed. Thanks again, NcStar!
Pros:
came with adapters for AR handguards, RIS, and barrel
little wobble
no plastic?
I am the first to review so everyone who sees this now knows... dont waste your money!
Cons:
Does not fit a KJW M700
Does not fit a Socom Gear R700/Airsoft GI G700
Little metal tooth that is supposed to go into the hole of the stud mount fell out
VERY stiff springs, can be a pro, but it is hard to move the bipod from collapsed to deployed.
material seems like pot metal
the bipod only works with the mount it came with, not other sniper stud mounts like on, I dunno... a sniper rifle.
