I recently got this sight and i could not be happier. There is just one thing the redials aren't the brightest so when i went to one of my local desert games you could barley see them. but it is perfect for indoor game play.

NcSTAR red dot sight, was my first red dot in airsoft and i dont have any huge cons with it, straight forward and no issues with it at all

NcStar is my go to for red dots and other target acquisition sights.
When the box arrived I was given the red dot sight, a small "chip" style battery, a sight cover and 2 allen wrenches.
The allen wrenches are for tightening it onto a rail, and for changing the windage.
I have had zero issues with this red dot. I would advise getting a sight riser along with this if you are using a face mask. I have a lower mesh mask and it can be difficult to acquire targets fast and accurately.
I would also recommend getting a BB shield if you're using it for CQB practice, as the glass can be easily shot out.
There is a brightness gage that you can manipulate for use in the day or at night. It is very bright during outdoor field games.
I normally get around 50 or so hours on medium brightness on the battery. Battery can be easily found at any major chain store.
For $40 this is a great price to pick up. It is made of aluminum and has very solid construction, it attached to my rail without ease and has not loosened.
NcStar made a great product for a great price, do pick it up when you can!

What are the reticles
I have a friend that is looking for a good red dot. I saw this on one of the Airsoft Gi videos, but it didn't say what the different reticles were. I know that green dots are better, does this one have one?
