The NC Star AK Side Rail Optics Mount is the perfect option for those players who are looking for a way to add an optic to their airsoft AK-47 or AK-74. This tactical rail only requires that the AK have a rail mount on the side of its receiver, and sets itself apart from other AK rails in that it includes both a top rail AND a side rail. Product Information:
this is a simple to use rail for any ak that has a rail mount on the side. I bought this for my cyma ak 105 and it fits perfectly. it has a good solid feel and when mounted it doesnt move. the only real thing thats wrong with it is that it does NOT fit on the king arms svd aeg. the space that you attack to the side rail mount is too small to fit.
Pros:
-easy to use
-fits most ak style rifles with side mounts
-ncie finish
-solid feel
Cons:
- not really a huge con but it does not fit the king arms svd
-a pain to take out the battery on aks with stick type batteries that go in the top of the gun.

Product Information:
Real Steel lightweight rail mount. I have a CM048 by CYMA and it works great with the gun and looks sick. I don't use the side mount on it since it's a little too far back on the gun for my flashlight, but it would work good for a gun-mounted camera. Overall awesome
Pros:
Easy to install
sturdy
looks great on any ak
plenty of room to mount any scope or red dot sight
Cons:
if you dont tighten the screws really tight, it can fall off
you need two different allen wrenches to tighten the rail properly

This is definitely an excellent attachment for any AK style gun that need a scope or optic.
I bought this this with high expectations, and I am completely satisfied. When I first got this attachment, it didn't snugly fit on my AKS 74u, so I sawed off the back (factory made rear iron sight blocks the tip of the front of the rail.) iron sight so it would slide all the way on. And let me tell you. It looks awesome. It fits awesome. And it has a flashlight rail on the side too!
much better than my old rail.
Pros:
_doesn't slide around (when properly installed.)
_Easily adjusted
_looks, fits, and works good.
_the side rail is a huge plus. I could install an easily accessible flashlight and it shone right were I needed to see.
_design Is cool
Cons:
_I wish it was compatible with AK74u ( the short ak ). as I said, I had to remove the rear iron sight in order to fit it on.
_it doesn't come with $100, which i thought was a huge flaw in the design of it...
Just kidding.
overall, I highly recommend it for a Dragunouv, AK47, AKwhatever, or other compatible weapon.
