The NC Star Magazine Chest Rig is a great low profile rig that is perfect for a player looking for a extremely simple and bare bones rig. This chest rig features 3 front magazine pouches that hold up two to magazines each, allowing for a total of 6 magazines. Two large miscellaneous pouches are also mounted on either side of the magazine pouches and are large enough for a variety of items such as empty magazines, tools, BBs, etc. There is also a large pocket behind the magazine pouches which can be used to store a variety of items such as game intelligence. This chest rig features wide padded straps to ensure maximum operator comfort when deployed; the straps also cross in the back to help reduce the felt load on the shoulders. Using a chest rig is a lot lighter than running a plate carrier, especially if you plan on bring mainly magazines onto the field with you.

Bought this awhile ago and have played three field games with it in a woodland environment. the three mag pouches can hold 2 mags comfortably and 3 at the most but the 3rd won't be able to fit to the bottom (which actually makes it easier to take out). The two pouches on the side are fairly large and if you angle it a certain way, can even fit a gas can. It also has a map pouch right above the mag pouches that I was able to fit my KWA M11A1 in as a 3rd weapon.

This rig is a really sturdy rig. I filled this rig with 9 sr25 mags which are rather heavy. I thiught this would rip or maybe shrewd some parts of it. However it's held up just fine.
