The NC Star 3-9x42 Gen II Optic with Micro Red Dot is one of the best optics for long range rifles. The adjustable magnification is a great addition especially for engaging targets at a distance. The micro red dot allows the user to quickly engage targets up close if the need rises while still maintaining accuracy. The new and improved scope centerline height is raised to AR15 1.5in scope height allowing more room for low profile back up iron sights. The blue and green reticle illumination with adjustable brightness is great for different types of day. New locking quick release mounts and redesigned lever for easy installation and release. The NcStar 3-9x42 is an excellent scope with an included micro red dot, this compact scope keeps your rifle low profile and able to make long range shots, while also including a micro dot just in case you need a sight with less magnification.
