I bought this to replace the questionable 6.03 brass stock inner barrel that came with my Apex aeg. I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. Took my max effective range from around 60 yards to about 75ish yards.(i measured the distance through strides). I do not have a chronograph but the bbs to seem to be going considerably faster. I can hit around a 5 inch grouping at 70 feet standing with the barrel and its bucking installed.
Pros:
Not terribly expensive
Maybe around a 40 fps gain
Better range
Shoots pretty consistently
Cons:
Seems to be made of aluminium and may bend easily
5 inch grouping at 70 feet is pretty great, but it could be a bit better
Kind of a pain to install with all of the o rings
