Back in 1991, Mechanix knew right away they had a good thing going with Mechanix Wear Gloves. They had no idea what kind of revolution they would start. From the first use of Mechanix Wear "Original" Gloves by pit crew teams at the Daytona 500, Mechanix Wear gloves have been the leader in the high performance work glove market. Before they knew it, they had 41 NASCAR teams asking for Mechanix gloves along with just about every other high profile motorsports team in every type of racing! As a result of the exposure, everyday mechanics, technicians, construction workers, Do-It-Yourselfers, industrial safety, emergency services, and military professionals all benefit from Mechanix products.
Every Mechanix Wear product represents a total commitment to its intended use. They consider everything: fit, feel, function, durability, quality, style and value. There is a lot of dedication and pride in everything Mechanix does, and it all adds up to superior performing products for you, their valued customer. Whether you're jumping the pit wall at Daytona or just doing a little tune up in the garage, you can have complete confidence that Mechanix Wear products offer you the best protection in the industry. Mechanix Wear gloves are for more than just racing, they are for toolboxes everywhere.
Professionals and enthusiasts agree - the FastFit glove is a toolbox must-have. I actually just got these gloves not that long ago. I've heard so many good things about them I couldn't help but pick a pair up. I chose the fast fits because from what I can tell they are affordable, dexterous, and overall the sam Mechanix quality anyone would be looking for. Being a fan of the movie "Shooter" and the video game "Metal Gear Solid" I snipped off the index finger and thumb. I am a sniper so it just adds to my experience to be dexterous and still maintain perfect grip. I will say these are the BEST gloves I have ever worn and I intend to buy multiple pairs of these and possible other Mechanix gloves. I haven't been disappointed in the slightest. The texture the reliability and durability, everything! If you want the best, pay for it and get these. There are multiple types depending if you need more protection too so why wear anything less than these!
Pros:
Comfortable
Durable
Amazing grip
Dexterous and almost feel like they aren't even there.
AMAZING value
Cons:
Might need to break them in a little (can feel slightly tight initially but once you stretch your fingers in it your ok)
Thats really it, unless you count not knowing about them sooner lol.
I've worn plenty of gloves over the years airsofting and these by far are the best I have tried on. I bought them not too long ago and already I can feel the difference from even my half-finger gloves in terms of dexterity and grip. The surface really grabs hold of metal and plastic alike even better than my bare fingertips. They feel very durable and fit well. The one caveat is that there is no way to tighten the gloves at the wrist, with only an elastic strip that runs all the way round the wrist and is somewhat loose. They are very dexterous seeing as I am typing this very review with the gloves on. The fingers, thumb, and palm are all made of "simulation leather" that grips when you want and doesn't when you don't.
Pros:
-Great grip/release relation
-Feel pretty durable
-Incredible dexterity
-High quality for the price
Cons:
-No way to tighten the wrists down and thus can ride up the palm slightly
(not too much of a downside as a slight tug puts them right back in place)

How large is a small size?
The medium size is out of stock. I have small-ish hands, so do I need to wait for the mediums to come back in stock or get smalls?
