This rail may look like it is a very simple product with no frills, but that is definitely wrong. It is a very simple design over all, but it is still a wonderfully great piece of kit. All of the mounting hardware is included, and it is quite an easy process to mount the rail on an AEG. I put it on my VFC SR-16E3 without problems of any kind. Thankfully, there is a small lug that protrudes from the back of the rail that helps one line up the Picatinny rail to the rail on the M4 receiver, for that perfect fit. This also helps to keep the delta ring from undoing itself if put under too much stress. Four(4) separate rail panels are included, two(2) short and two(2) long pieces, with all the needed mounting hardware included. The two screws that tighten down the rail onto the delta ring seem to be very solidly made, they have not worked themselves loose after many months of use, even without Loctite.
The rail is surprisingly light weight, yet it is extremely rugged and solid. I assume that the rail is CNC machined, at least partially, it is still very nicely made. All the white markings are also very nicely made.
Pros:
-Light weight.
-Easy to install.
-Nicely CNC machined, high quality strong metal.
-Extremely modular.
-All mounting hardware is included.
-Included separate rail panels with mounting hardware.
-The Picatinny rail is true to military specifications.
-Durable and nice looking finish.
Cons:
-My only complaint is that it is much easier to mount the separate rail panels when the rail is not mounted on the gun, so you will need to figure out exactly where you want your accessories to be mounted, and then remove the rail to be able to attach the small rail panels with relative ease. It is possible to attack the rail panels while mounted on the gun, but it can be difficult when the gun barrel is in the way.

Does this rail end right before the flash hider?
Interested in this rail but don't want to run a barrel extension if i don't need too. - Matt

It depends on what gun you're mounting this on. If your gun has a typical 363mm barrel this will end almost exactly where the flash hider is mounted but anything smaller will probably require some form of a barrel extension. Honestly though this rail system is more for 510mm DMR/Full length rifles.
