The 820 continuously and accurately reads the condition of the battery during the fast charge cycle without having to pause periodically to detect delta peak, meaning it fully and quickly charges the battery and avoids over charging. The Super Brain's improved heat management allows it to be used immediately after each charge. Fast charging commences as soon as the battery is connected followed automatically by trickle charge mode.

This charger was a waist of $36. After reading the glowing reviews, I decided to purchase this charger. Upon receiving this charger, I plugged in my 8.4V 1200mah battery and let it charge overnight. The next day during an airsoft skirmish, the battery suddenly died in the middle of the first round. It only lasted literally 15 minutes. After the game I tested the battery using a multimeter and found that the battery was only charged to 4.21V. So having faith in the reviews and charger, I recharged the battery and tested it the next day. Same result. So now whenever I need to charge my battery, I have to discharge the battery completely, then plug in the battery for a few minutes and unplug it and repeat until the battery is charged. When the charger is fast charging it also over charges my battery which causes it to overheat. If you are thinking of purchasing this charger, buy at your own risk. I will be avoiding this brand in the future.
Pros:
compact, flashy, easy to install, nice display
Cons:
doesn't work, over charges, waste of money
Such a piece of crap. Thing is worthless. doesnt even charge my battery. i plugged it in to charge my battery and it said it was charged, so, i went outside to shoot the gun and was able to get off about 5 rounds and the battery died. this thing sucks. dont buy it. at one point it even was saying that it was charging when i didnt even have the battery hooked up to it.
Pros:
nothing
Cons:
everything
I bought this charger, but have not used it, and when I read the instruction manual, I was pretty disappointed, because this thing only charges SUB C OR LARGER cell size, noAA or AAA cell size, A.K.A. mini batteries, and I have a mini battery.
Pros:
Cheap, I guess
Cons:
only charges sub-c or larger (no minis)
