The Lancer Tactical Tornado holster is a fully adjustable leg holster from Lancer Tactical that will fit a large variety of handguns. The holster is built with durable tactical nylon, which is very light weight and long lasting. The holster has 2 leg straps, which are fully adjustable to fit the leg of the user and is one size fits most. Along with the easy to use straps, the holster features quick release buckles to easily remove the holster in a pinch. The main holster compartment can be adjusted to fit thin framed pistols such as the M1911, all the way up to larger pistols such as the FNX-45 or Elite Force USP, and also includes a magazine pouch towards the front of the pouch

Got this for my Elite Force 1911 TAC. It has held up great! Once properly adjusted to your leg, you almost forget it's there! It isn't ripped or damaged in any way, even after walking through a frozen cat tail swamp for 15 minutes at Operation: Western Gambit, and my pistol hasn't fallen out of it once! So it's doing it's job!
It has an adjustable flap on the inside that the muzzle rests against, so that you can adjust how deep in the holster your handgun rests. It is only a flap with velcro on it, so it could be removed to accommodate a suppressed sidearm.
Excellent value, do recommend!
Pros:
Comfortable, unlike what most people expect
Secure(Pistol can be held in via velcro and snap thumb break, snap thumb break alone, elastic pull tab, or all of the above.
Versatile!
Has MOLLE on front, so a clip from a pistol lanyard can be connected to, if you choose to use one.
Cons:
Thumb break a little awkward with a hammer-cocked 1911, but works fine!
I got this for my WE 1911. I'm about 5'9 and 120 lbs, a smaller guy. Because of this, I had to tighten the leg straps pretty far. This left me with a lot of spare strap flapping around. Ended up just cutting it off. Even though these are just petty issues, I feel they were something worth noting.
Aside from those minor problems, which aren't even because of the holster, it owrks really well on the field. Once adjusted, my 1911 didn't move around at all.
Pros:
MOLLE on the side for a pistol lanyard or maybe a another pistol mag pouch.
Secure
Integrated pistol mag pouch on the front.
Very adjustible
Cons:
If you have a small frame, it may require quite a bit of adjusting to fit.
This holster is pretty fun to use. It was my first drop leg holster and it does a great job at retaining your gun. You can also adjust the holster to fit as large or as small of a gun as you can possibly have (pistols). It opens up completely and re-closes through the use of velcro. It also has MOLLE on the side which is nice. In addition it has a quick detach point so it can come off your hip/leg in an instant, but it doesn't do so accidentally. This holster also has a nicely sized magazine pouch on the front which retains the magazine very well.
Pros:
Awesome green
mag pouch
MOLLE on the side
fully adjustable via velcro (can hold a gun with a flashlight)
Quick detach
Retains pistol very well based on adjustment
Cons:
I'm sometimes worried that it will detach accidentally although it has not yet.
It tends to slide around on my leg when I start crawling. I would suggest getting a similar holster, but one that has grippy leg straps to prevent sliding.
This holster has the common issue of engaging the mag release button on the side of the pistol and releasing the mag without your knowledge. You can avoid this by adjusting the holster so that the gun sits up high enough out of the holster so that the button can't be engaged, but then the gun is not retained too well. I suggest purchasing a mag guard strap that goes on the handle and keeps the magazine in place. Its only $10 and is worth the investment.

Because this holster is meant to be adjustable, the KWC Desert Eagle should have no issue fitting if the holster is adjusted correctly. 3616 days ago 0
