The Lancer Tactical Body Armor is similar to the body armor that has been in use by special forces operators for many years and featured in numerous media appearances. The LT Body Armor has an external cummerbund that forms the vest to the body of the user for a secure fit. This vest also has adjustable shoulder straps as well as hard imitation SAPI plate inserts. Also, the front of the vest features a panel of hook and loop fasteners for a ID placard or patches. The PT Body Armor can also act as a carrier with its ability to accept standard 10x12 plates. This vest works great with load bearing suspenders or just as a stand alone plate carrier. You can attach a chest rig on top of this plate carrier for additional pouches to hold your magazines. Overall, this lightweight system is a great way to protect your body and complete your loadout.

The only real con that I have with it is the plastic pieces holding the shoulder straps together but not really a big deal.
Overall an excellent vest. As other reviews have stated, its superb quality is unparalleled as compared to other cheap MOLLE counterparts. It has a large amount of space for as many patches as you like, and with a free flag, come on! Overall a great buy.

Awesome vest. This among other Lancer product has made me a LAcner fan. I ran this with a plate carrier to simulate soft armor along with a sappi plate carrier (as some military and police units might). Very comfortable. Included in the vest are heavy duty inserts. This is no floppy vest! Comes with an American Flag patch (may not look like in picture, mine was long and skinny, no biggie though). I plan to use this with a light loadout with a chest rig rather that running it with my plate carrier.
Pros:
Easy to don, comfortable, not floppy, flag patch!
Cons:
Getting the waist band/cummerbund down so the vest sits even can be a pain but not a deal breaker, HOT if used with a plate carrier too! (again, not a deal breaker)
