it takes one aa battery and has multiple mounts, a ballistic helmet mount, molle mount, and a arc rail mount. the light has a bendy tip for pointing at most angles. i suggest putting it on the left side if you mount it on a arc rail because on the right it will obscure a flag patch if you have one.
to turn on ir hold the power button, to turn on red just tap the power button, for green tap again. to turn white on tap for red then hold. and to turn off wait a little bit after turning on then tap the power button
Pros:
light weight
ir,green,red and white.
one aa battery
Cons:
not very bright
no Manuel
because of not having a Manuel i couldn't figure out how to turn on ir. the way you do it is hold the power button instead of tapping it.

(I have this same question)
You can't see IR light without night vision or an infrared viewer of some kind, so it's most likely that you are cycling to it.
