Flash Magazines are a must have item for anyone using high caps.
The design replaces the bottom wheel with a pull string. The pull string is hidden from view behind a door flap. The internals give you a different sound when fully wound, just like wheel mags.
These are so effective that anytime someone sees me use them for the first time, they instantly want to get some. I get a lot of compliments
Pros:
With about 3 or 4 pulls at the start of a skirmish and I can go through my whole 350 round magazine. Its very nice to not have to think about my magazine.
A nice touch is that the fill door clicks into the closed and open position. Magazines that dont do this are annoying.
Cons:
The pull string gives you the ability to put allot of force on the internal mechanism. In the heat of battle I gave it a couple of fast pulls and broke the inside. This can also happen to wheel magazines if you continue to roll after it is fully wound.
I was able to open the magazine and repair the damage with a paper clip. But, it was very hard to do because the internals are so small.
I blame the user for this incident but it is worth noting that it is easier to ruin than a wheel magazine. I purchased two magazines and only damaged one. Pull gently.
I got this mag with my G&G TR15. It fed very well and wound up fast. However, the mag breaks VERY easily, I've had two break in the past 6 weeks.
Pros:
- WInds fast
- Feeds well
- Better than standard Hi-Cap
Cons:
- Cheap, feels hollow
- Breaks very easy.
- Color isn't tan. It's more of a grayish brown.
It's a flash mag, so you only have to pull the string instead of winding a wheel. Fits well in most M4s, and I have only had one feeding problem, which was fixed by taking it out, shaking it, and putting it back in.
Pros:
No winding, only string pulls
fits well
metal
Cons:
has some feeding issues
BB's rattle, as in all high caps
