Lancer Tactical LT07W AKS74UN Carbine AEG Airsoft Rifle (Imitation Wood)
[P08A00][13308 / LT-07W]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
Getting yourself out on the field and being competitive does not have to be expensive. Whereas in the past it could cost you upwards of $300 to have your airsoft gun, tactical gear, eye protection, magazines and bb's, Lancer Tactical now makes it entirely possible to be out and playing for less than $200! Don't be mistaken, just because many of these airsoft guns have a sub-$120 price tag does not mean that they are the same as the low power electric or spring powered guns that you might find elsewhere for similar or lower prices. The Lancer Tactical models are skirmish-grade airsoft guns, unlike the LPEG's and spring guns found elsewhere that are just toys. Order yours today so you can be out on the field and having a blast as soon as it comes in!
The Lancer Tactical AK74U is a budget friendly airsoft gun yet produced exceptionally well. Not only does it come with a very modest price tag, but it provides incredible value for each dollar spent on it. The body of the AK74U is constructed out of polymer, which makes it lightweight enough that you can carry it around the field for hours without becoming fatigued. The folding stock is polymer and pistol grip serve to make this AK74U both look and feel much like its real steel counterpart. Fold the stock for easy maneuvering around tight spaces and quicker target acquisition.
Internally, the Lancer Tactical AK74U AEG is even more impressive. The standard version 3 gearbox features a full metal construction, with metal bushings and an innovative metal sector gear clip to ensure that the gun cycles correctly. It also comes standard with a ball bearing spring guide to reduce the tension on the spring as it cycles. The lightweight polymer piston features pre-corrected angle of engagement. The piston head is ported, and a one-piece hop up unit all matches together perfectly with the gearbox to ensure that the Lancer Tactical AK74U fires as smoothly and reliably as possible.
In summary, don't let the low price of the Lancer Tactical AK74U AEG Airsoft Gun fool you into thinking it is a low quality option, or that it is going to break on you immediately. This is a skirmish-grade, battle-ready airsoft gun that is ready to help you take down your enemies on the field. The gun's internals are all standard Version 2 parts which means it capable of being upgraded, and should you decide to, you can build it up into an even more impressive addition to your arsenal.

Lancer Tactical AK74U FM Gearbox AEG, ABS Polymer, Fake Wood
This was my very first Airsoft gun and is PERFECT for beginners. It has lovely FPS, Hop Up adjust is easy to work with and the gun itself feels great. It has a great ergonomic feel, as with most AK's in my opinion, and the folding stock makes its flexibility great.
Among other things, the gun is dead accurate and maintains performance(at least for me) for a long time. 4-5 months to be more specific. And if you feel the need to mount an optic you can mount almost any Side Rail.
The weight is very balanced, not too heavy, not too light making it easy to be mobile. I have had no real problems with it aside from tiny issues(listed in the cons). Otherwise, I would highly recommend this gun to anyone starting out.
And for those of you not sure what beginner equipment to get, just buy another 8.4v 1600mAh Stick battery and two Lancer Tactical AK AEG magazines. A great loadout for beginners and will set you up anytime.
Pros:
-Looks awesome
-Balanced weight
-High FPS(Could be a CON)
-Folding Stock
-Side Rail Mount ready
-Adjustable Hop Up
-Accurate
-PRICE IS AMAZING
-Single Point sling mount(on the stock)
-Eventhough its Polymer seems like metal
Cons:
-Wobbly Pistol Grip
-Iron Sights are mediocre
-Parts a little stiff
This gun is great! I played at AEX with it and it worked like a charm, even my friend did great with it. I'd recommend this gun to any novice player for CQB or CQC.
Pros:
-Light weight
-wrecks on the field
-collapsing and sturdy stock
-easy battery access
Cons:
-sometimes the motor gets too far from the trigger and it won't respond
-hard to take down
-that's it
Lancer Tactical AK74U:
I bought it to remove the stock and nip the charging handle, and cone off the front of the FH. The idea to make it a sub gun sized AK Pistol that weighs less than 3.5 lbs with a 11.1 lipo in it.
Pros:
A solid little gun- if you haven't seen the torture test videos on utube u must see them. These will hold up. I'm running a 11.4 lipo in mine. It has no problem with the abundant access to
Impulse energy.
Hop up bucking is good to go- just a little goes a long way.
I'm running .28 Ammo in it. It is accurate on 1x1 tin targets to 150 feet. Just play with the hop for the elevation adjustment. Mine was dead-on for windage out of the box.
Trigger guard is metal- I liked that.
The barrel goes all the way to the front of the muzzle device minus the cone. I nipped the cone off.
Cons:
The charging handle on the hop cover is a liability, as well as the dust cover hinge. Be gentle with these.
I nipped the charging handle to a nub to prevent it from being snagged and ruining the hop cover.
The cover is attached to the action with a small hinge- in the future beef up that hinge engineers. It worries me.
The battery that comes with it barely fits in under the action cover. Just go buy a lipo battery and save your sanity from this frustration. Torture tests prove it will thrive on the 9-11 sizes. Sell the stock battery to someone with more room.
When folded the. Internals are exposed to weather if it's raining. Put a dab of silicone on the back to water proof that window.

there is only one sling mount on the back of the gun so if you need a sling it has to be a one point sling.

Does this magazine work with the AKS-74u?
Hey, so, one more question. I was curious about purchasing two extra mags, and I found two that seemed to work with this gun, and the color scheme matches that of the original. Would this magazine (your product) work with the AKS-74u?

Does this Kobra RDS work with this gun?
Alright, so, recently, I've been looking at purchasing this gun considering how good the reviews tell it to be, and also I was looking to purchase a Russian Kobra RDS to add an aesthetic feel to it and to add accuracy. However, the RDS I found was not on the sight, and I was curious if it would be adaptable to the gun. Could you please answer it? The link to the RDS is here: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/ea-kobra-military-ak-red-dot-sight-ekp-1s-03-1.html#.UzYggPldU1I

How can I remove the handguard, orange tip, and what kind of threads does it have?
I want to buy a new railed handguard and possibly a new mock suppressor for a longer inner barrel and I can't do that without removing the orange tip and handguard

You have to have the orange tip for identification and safety purposes if you do not have it on you can get finned or detrained for suspicion of a real firearm instead of a fake one

ASGI cannot discuss how to remove the orange tip. The Lancer Tactical plastic line usually doesn't have any threads on their airsoft guns. 3956 days ago 0
