New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.

The Lancer Tactical Generation 2 M4 Carbine LT-12 features a new, upgraded nylon-reinforced polymer body. This material makes it a tough and durable rifle to have at your side. At the same time, it is lightweight and maneuverable, so you can stay in the fight longer and maneuver better, no matter where or whom you are fighting.

This carbine features a redesigned lower receiver. For those who use a magazine-well grip on their rifle, it will feel slightly more ergonomic. The gun also features a 10-inch KeyMod rail system that accepts mil-spec KeyMod rail panels and accessories. That means you can adapt this gun to your style of play and the conditions you play in. The rear of the receiver also features a slight redesign. It appears similar to an M110 receiver, with a square cut to the rear, where the upper and lower meet near the stock.

The gun sports an adjustable front and rear sight set, so zero can be dialed in for accurate shots. A Picatinny upper rail allows attachment of optics, giving this gun more versatility and adaptability for you to sight in on your foe. Instead of a flat rear plate behind the stock tube, there is a sling plate for the convenient attachment of single point slings.

The beauty of this realistic-looking gun runs more than skin deep. Inside, the second generation of these Lancer Tactical weapons comes with standard Version 2 gearboxes. That makes it easy to find all the upgrades and modifications you cold want on the airsoft market. The Lancer pre-upgraded gearboxes have lots of cool features that will deliver dependable performance in the heat of the battle, like an upgraded motor, 8mm ball bearings to ensure the gears spin more efficiently with less friction, a quick-change spring system to easily adjust the rifle velocity and low-resistance wiring to ensure smooth electrical flow from the battery to power the rifle.

The rifle also features a 6.03mm tight-bore barrel and a rotary dial hop-up unit to allow for more precise, accurate shots at range. With its velocity of 370-390 feet per second right out of the box, this gun is field legal and perfect for long-range engagements and picking off those pesky opponents at your leisure.

Best of all, these guns come with all the basics you need to get playing, including a high-capacity magazine, a 9.6V battery and a smart charger, and a surprisingly low starting price for the entire package. This is one lightweight rifle that won't lighten your wallet. Pick one up, get in the game and enter the fight with one of our second generation of Lancer Tactical M4 carbines.
