The piston is built with high-density polycarbonate material with steel teeth designed to mesh properly with the gear teeth for continuous reliability and performance. Made of polycarbonate also, the piston head is ported for maximum air seal. That results in a longer-lasting assembly, compared to other piston heads made of weak plastic. The cylinder is made of aluminum and Teflon coated for maximum air seal, and the cylinder head and air nozzle are each made of a dense polymer material.
