This is the gun that the sales clerk recommended to me. I am happy. Good metal construction, decent internals, good externals. The only problem with the externals is that the top reciever does not cover all of the mech box. Man oh man. I charged this beast up exactly 5.6 hours, judging by the mAh. Wasted a couple of clips, still had juice and decided to just shoot a pile of shirts. BAD IDEA. OMFG. I put holes in like two of them. I think ASGI owes me new shirts.
Pros:
Full Metal and Polymer
Good construction
VFC style body
Decent internals
Good externals
Compact design
High FPS
High RPM
Cons:
Small battery slot
Top receiver is a tad short
This was my upgrade from a CM028, and I couldn't be more pleased. The metals and plastics look and feel great and it shoots nicely. No wobble to speak of except in the stock because it folds, and even that is negligible. The only issues are that the battery sucks (to be expected) and my front sight came super crooked. Luckily you can fix the sight by knocking out the pin that holds it in place. It also might shoot over field limits but I can't confirm or deny that.
Pros:
- Look and feel
- Shoots hard and far enough for any normal play
- AK Hi-Caps are huge
Cons:
- Possibility of crooked front sight
- Crappy battery
- Might be heavy for smaller people
If you're looking for a good stater AK that'll actually last and not cost an arm and a leg, go with this guy. I've owned his gun for three years now and it has held up to some of the worst beatings a gun can go through and the gearbox inside still keeps on trucking.
Pros:
- V3 gearbox so completely upgradable
- solid polymer
- great for modern Russian loadouts
Cons:
- a little pricier than most beginners are willing to spend but really worth it

FPS?
I see this as listed as 350-375fps, but reviews I've seen and other websites I've seen list this at over 400fps. What is the actual spec?
