KRYTAC, established in Southern California in 2013, is a dedicated product research and design team of the Switzerland-based firearms manufacturer KRISS Group. The primary focus of KRYTAC is to engineer premium airsoft products for recreational use. Additionally, KRYTAC also specializes in the advancement of cutting edge professional training systems. The KRYTAC team is comprised of highly experienced firearm and airsoft professionals who have come together for one common goal, to provide premium products that evolve individuals beyond their boundaries.

The KRYTAC brand name is derived from the legendary sea creature, The Kraken. The Kraken was feared, and revered, for it's power and dominance in the sea. No other creature could match The Kraken in strength and speed. The spirit of The Kraken lives on in KRYTAC.

The KRYTAC DEFIANCE rail is the KRISS Group's brand of top quality weapon accessories. The KRYTAC "TR110" is a 10 inch rail system made of weapons grade aluminum and features the latest in firearms accessories technology, the keymod system. The keymod slots are placed at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions with a standard picatinny rail at the 12 o'clock position. The front of the TR rail series feature 3 sharp protrusions that are designed to assist the shooter in stabilizing the rifle when firing from behind a barricade. The shape of the rail has been carefully contoured to provide a comfortable and secure grip with the support hand, with or without accessories attached. The rail attaches to the barrel nut with two large hex screws, making assembly and disassembly very simple.
