KWA LM4C PTR M4 Carbine GBBR Airsoft Rifle (Black)
[Q11D00][10542 / 103-00203]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
Description:
KWA is a well known airsoft manufacturer that has been creating high quality airsoft guns for some time. From airsoft electric guns to gas blow back airsoft guns, Engineered to Outperform, defines the quality of their products. Externally, the material they use is designed to withhold a serious amount of stress giving the gun the utmost durability. Internally, the parts used in their airsoft guns are matched to the highest degree for the smoothest operation over long periods of operation. Overall, their product truly performs on the field, KWA products stick to their motto, Engineered to Outperform.
The KWA LM4 PTR GBBR is a game changer for the airsoft world. The LM4 PTR brings together two characteristics of gas blowback rifles that traditionally remain separate, affordability and reliability. The KWA LM4 PTR has taken many years to engineer and assemble and it's finally ready to come to market. The upgrade factor is something that KWA aims to address with every gun they release, because they don't want the player to have to upgrade their guns in order for them to have a good time, and that's exactly the type of mentality that built the LM4. The majority of the gun is constructed of aluminum, such as the receivers, barrel, and buffer tube, while the hand guard, pistol grip, and stock are constructed of a high grade polymer, just like a real rifle would be. The bolt movement is crisp and the recoil is very direct, and feeling that this gun gives you while being fired is unmatched by any other gas blowback M4 on the market. The construction and feel of the gun are second to none.
Another very impressive feature of the LM4, and one of the key components in making the gun operate smoothly as it does is the magazine. The magazine holds the gas to operate the gun and the 40 rounds of ammunition. The guys over at KWA have taken their years of experience constructing high quality gas pistols and magazines, and used the knowledge they've gained to engineer the LM4 PTR magazine to be as powerful, efficient, and user friendly as possible. For example, the top of the LM4 PTR Magazine is made of high impact polymer whereas the rest of the magazine is made of metal. KWA has done this for two reasons; first, the top of the magazine will be much more resistant to breaking if dropped, and second, the magazine top and feeding lip can be replaced and the magazine can be rebuilt should it become necessary. The LM4 PTR is an amazing rifle that has been engineered from the ground up to be the first and last gas blowback M4 that you will ever need to buy. All KWA guns, including the LM4 PTR, and even their magazines, are engineered to out perform.

Get this gun if your looking for the most realistic design, feel, kick, and everything else on the airsoft market. Why spend more than this on a gun that doesn't compare to this. This gun will not need any upgrading, the buffer tube spring is so right making the kick amazing. the bolt, forward assist, bolt catch, and all the internals work as if your holding a real AR-15. the body is metal, the internals are metal, the barrel is metal, rails are metal, and the only thing that is polymer is hand guard, stock and pistol grip
Pros:
1.)Realistic Weight
2.) realistic Magazine Weight (1.25lbs)
3.) realistic bolt function
4.) Realistic Forward Assist
5.) Bolt locks back on last shot
6.) mag is really gas efficient
7.) you get your money's worth
8.) Great for Milsim Players *who can afford a lot more mags*
9.) So comfortable holding the gun
10.) no need in upgrading it'
11.) Quick, Fast, Realistic dis-assembly
Cons:
1.) if your looking to put a RIS, the delta ring at first is reallllly hard to work with
Kwa LM4C PTR I well a great Airsoft gun i T was my first GBBR and well I was not mad I was more happier then I thought everyone said it was great and felt real I thought to myself well I should try it I shot one, and I fell in love that's all I wanted and about two weeks went by just day dreaming about that gun finally ended I finally clicked the buy button
Pros:
Realistic in kick, feel, and you feel like a badass when holding it
Full metal construction
Shoots accurately with .25g bb's
Best deal for a KWA GBBR
Best at CQC
Sounds amazing
Great right out of the box
Cons:
Mags are expensive
Hop up will break easily at time (aka the teeth)
Have to beable to hold about 30lbs in order to hold comfortably which may be hard for young kids
Oh where to start.. This may be a long one but I want to inform buyers a little better than other reviews, not that any of them are wrong or not informative... I guess I'll start off saying this is my 1st airsoft rifle. I researched diff types of rifles more than i care to say. I hate to buy something and go into it blind.. I can't tell you from experience how this rifle stands against other gbb because it's the only one i've ever used, although i did fire a tippman a few rounds. I can tell you that I was issued a M-16 back when i was in the service. This rifle here is dang near perfect when it comes to being mil spec, weight, looks, the way it operates and even the feel. The blow back Is out flipping standing. Its something you have to see for yourself to believe. While, in my opinion, it doesn't have the recoil a real M-16 has, its not to far from it. The lm4c is deff for close quarters as it is short. If you want a longer version, go with the lm4.
Now, This rifle can be upgraded somewhat and there are a few mods that can be done to make it perform like no other (from what ive seen). Although, this rifle has been out a while some info on the mods are hard to find sometimes. The rifle is pretty well solid. It doesn't have any rattles if you shake it or when trying to move in stealth. Mag is quiet, no rattle from the bb's.
I will go ahead and warn you now that the hopup is a piece of dookie. like seriously , dookie... I had issues with mine from the start. It would double feed and break the feeding lip off of the mag. Kwa will not outright acknowledge that there is any issues with the hopup. Should you have issues, and you will, Kwa will tell you to return it under warranty and if found to be a faulty part, they will replace the hopup with the same hopup that it came with. Guess what, its still a piece of dookie... I'm in no way talking down about Kwa or this rifle, I just want to give the buyer my best account and review.. Dont let that keep you from buying this rifle as its well worth the money. Just go ahead and order a after market hop up and bucking. from that point you should have no issues whatsoever with double feeds unless you use crappy bb's or the feeding lip on the mag is broken...
The mag works well. Although if your a trigger happy nut that likes to go full auto for the whole 40 rounds, you wont be impressed, As the faster the gas escapes from the mag, the colder the mag gets. The colder the mag gets, the less pressure you will have to operate the rifle.Best way to fill a mag is to put it in the fridge and let it cooler than the outside temp then fill. Do not freeze the mag!! Best bet is to go hpa with this one.( look that up on youtube)
There are a few pages on facebook that is dedicated to the lm4c and lm4. find them and join, Itll save you some time.
When its all said and done, This rifle is almost perfect. Way more than i ever expected it to be... I would deff buy another version right now if i had the $$
Pros:
Blow back is more exciting than actually shooting someone..
Operation of the rifle in general is very true to the M-16..
Trigger is tight (no loose play).
Perfect for training.
Not too expensive especially when compared to other gbb.
Built really well
Not hard to upgrade internals.
Fairly accurate with stock hopup. even with 30g bb's
Can use propane
I could keep going and going..
Stop reading and click "add to shopping cart"
Cons:
feeding lip can break if mag is dropped and lands on it.
Hopup is a piece of dookie.
has a bad habit of double feeding with stock hopup.
Did I mention that the hopup is dookie?
You will need/ want more mags and they are expensive.
doesnt come with red dot as pictured.
Bolt catch wears, mod needed. (youtube)
buffer stop also wears, can buy aftermarket to correct..(youtube)
Propane voids warranty even tho its exactly the same as green gas less the oil...
your still reading and not clicking add to shopping cart...

The size of the hand guard does not effect the rail of your airsoft gun. If you choose to run a free float size would be different. 3874 days ago 0

Staff Answer:
Airsoft GI only recommends green gas for KWA gas guns. Propane, even when lubed, can cause problems in KWA gas guns. Using propane will void all warranties on KWA gas guns. 3933 days ago 0

We currently do not have an ETA on the restocking on this product. We generally get KWA's as soon as they ship in, so hopefully we'll get some more as soon as possible. 3972 days ago 0

Will an omega 9-inch rail system (the bridged one) work with this gun? Will I have to buy a w barrel to get rid of t
I want to buy this and then add a new (at most 9-inch) bridged rail system and maybe fit a silencer underneath it, and use either my flip up magnifier with a holographic, or an illuminated scope with either my 45 degree canted iron sights or rail attachments. However I have no idea if the rail will fit, wether I will have to buy a whole new barrel to get rid of that triangle iron sight, or even how to disassemble/assemble all of it once I get it all. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
