This the stock, OEM magazine designed specifically for the KWA LM4 gas blowback airsoft gun. The magazine holds the gas to operate the gun and the ammunition, 40 rounds. KWA have taken their years of experience making gas pistols, and magazines, to engineer the LM4 PTR magazine to be as powerful, efficient, and user friendly as possible. For example, the top of the LM4 PTR Magazine is made of high impact polymers where the rest of the magazine is made of metal. KWA have done this for two reasons; first, the top of the magazine will be much more resistant to breaking if dropped, also the magazine top and feeding lip can be replaced and the magazine can be rebuilt in case the worst does happen.

I got my lm4 from AirsoftGi about 5 Months ago and all I can say is this gun is solid. The mags are great. Their build like a tank I've had no problems with feeding or gas leaks. the mag hold plenty of gas I get about a mag and a half each time I fill it. A lot of the gas guns I've had it the past I alway had problems with the mags leaking or Jamming and the Cool down effect. But one thing that mite be a con for some is the weight of the mag but its not a con for me. All an all a great Product and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to get a gas gun that will last.
Pros:
Holds a good number of bbs (40bbs)
Hold a lot of gas
You can buy replacement parts for it
No jams or leaks
Realistic weight
Cons:
None (Other than weight could be to someone )
Biggest reason to buy these? There the only magazine compatible for your LM4 other than the PMAG.
The STANAG style mag is the better option of the two for a few reasons...
1) They rarely leak and if they do its a extremely easy fix.
2) They hold 40bbs in comparison to the PMAGs 38
3) They hold more gas than the PMAGs
4) They're lighter than the PMAGs (3 PMAGs weigh the same as 4 STANAGs)
Pros:
- High gas capacity, you'll get 2.5-3 mags worth of shots.
- Very durable materials
- If you break the feed lips you can easily replace them.
- Holds 40bbs
Cons:
- They can leak, if they do replace the middle release valve o-ring with a larger one and all your leaks will stop.
- The finish scratches off rather easily, a stronger coating would have raised my rating to 5/5.
First of all I understand why this magazine isn't in stock anywhere that I can think of. It is a well-rounded magazine that follows KWA's motto "Engineered to Out Perform."
Pros:
-Unaffected by cold temperatures
-Extremely gas efficient
-For mil-sim players, weight of fully loaded AR-15 magazine
-40 rounds rather than traditional 30
-Feeding lip helps decrease jamming
Cons:
-For mil-sim players, 40 rounds not realistic 30 round
-Heavier than most mags
-Tend to start leaking a lot
