This mag is great! In my opinion, way better than the green gas mags. Aside from sticking out a little from the bottom of the gun, this mag delivers more bang for your buck, literally. With the gas mags (I use propane) I am only able to get about 17-19 shots out of the total 22rds. But with this CO2 mag I can get a full 64 rounds with just one 12gram CO2 cartridge. This option is a little more pricey than green gas or propane ($2 for a can or propane vs. $3 for a box of 5 CO2 cartridges), but the output is awesome! You can feel the power difference when you squeeze of a few and the recoil is much more crisp and powerful than the gas mags.
Overall, if you are tired of getting only a fraction of you mag's capacity out of one charge of gas, then buy this, you will not be sorry.
(note: the gun I ordered had a BLACK air nozzle, which exploded when I used the CO2 for the first time. I sent it in and Airsoft GI fixed it and gave it the UPGRADED nozzle it was supposed to have which is colored RED, not blue like in the picture. So if your nozzle in your KJW 1911 is black and not red, or even blue, then DO NOT fire the CO2 mag, just contact Airsoft GI and they will take care of it. Thanks Airsoft GI for your great customer service!)
Pros:
-shoots harder and faster
-stronger recoil
-able to shoot almost a full 3 mags on one cartridge
-CO2 is overall more powerful, reliable, and does not cool as fast as green gas or propane
Cons:
-more expensive than using propane
-sticks out a little from the bottom of the grip
-changing a CO2 cartridge takes longer than filling the mag with gas, but this is minor, as the changing process is extremely easy, but it does require one quarter or an allen wrench to unscrew the bottom cap.
