The Javelin Airsoft Works Full Metal / Real Wood AK-74U Battle Veteran Series Electric BlowBack Airsoft Gun is a great option for someone looking for a cqb-oriented AK. The body of the gun is constructed entirely out of metal, and the hand guard is real wood, giving it an incredibly realistic look and feel. The AK-74 U features a shortened barrel design making it perfect for close quarters combat, and the metal stock folds to the side, making it even shorter and more maneuverable. Because this model is from the Battle Veteran series, the metal body of the gun is distressed at the factory to give the gun a unique and highly distinctive battle-worn appearance. The integrated blowback system gives the AK an increased recoil when firing and add an extra element of realism that is not found in many other airsoft AK's. DISCLAIMER* I have not taken this gun out to play yet and this is an out of the box review!
So lets get to the review. :D
First off I want to state that A LOT of the pros/cons will be the same because well.. they can be a pro or a con.
Next I want to state that my AK kinda like came messed up out of the box.. it wasn't too hard to fix. But having never owned an AK before I had no idea what to do. :(
I would also like to state that for the Battery for this gun box thingy on ASGI before I bought this gun it was a mini and not a stick battery.. so I ended up buying the wrong battery.. whatever I might get another gun and you know maybe it'll fit that. :D
The gun also shot for me 370 fps out of the box. Which isn't bad if you are gunna be playing in outdoors or fields like that. But if you want to play CQB it's a little bit too high. :(

Folding stock does not have much wobble. but it is still noticeable.

The pistol grip texturing isn't very comfortable
Sometimes the folding stock kind of rubs against my hand whilst I am holding the pistol grip.
Small battery compartment (Not very wide. Somewhat long)
Top handguard was kind of wobbly(Also where you house the battery)
There is absolutely NO way to mount optics on it.. personally i'm fine with that. But it would have been nice to be able to put a scope mount on it.. This question has been answered on the "Questions" section of the page of this gun.
So thats my review. :D Hope this helps you if you were thinking of purchasing this gun.. but weren't sure!

Scope rail
Would it be possible for me to attach a cyma AK scope mount to this? I was holding off on buying one just incase it didn't work with this gun.
