Description:
The Scorpion VZ 61 is famous for its service as a sidearm for soviet tank crews and is one of the few remaining guns that can be considered a true machine pistol. JG has released this famous gun as a replica automatic electric pistol. The JG has a mini type gearbox like the one in their popular MP7 AEP and includes the 7.2v Micro Battery EX with charger. It features a metal lower receiver and a metal wire folding stock that gives this AEP a solid feel. The VZ 61 also includes a 20mm rail mount that attaches under the barrel so the user can mount accessories such as flashlights and lasers. This gun is small but solid and is a great choice for anyone who enjoys compact airsoft guns like the MP7.

I love this gun and try to use t in all my load outs as secondary or primary would recamend this gun for beginers or evn for semi pro players like myself
Pros:
Good fps
Good Range (~150-175ft)
Full metal gearbox
Mostly metal body Things that are plastic are well made and will not break
comes with barrel adapter
Cons:
I bought mine from megastore
heavy for the size
orange tip is glued on with excess amounts of glue makes hard to put barrel adapter on
Just received this gun last night. Purchased for my son after he shot a few rounds through a TM version that a fellow player was using at our last operation. He fell in love with the gun. After test firing last night with .20 G&G Bio the gun is very accurate for a small AEP and a decent rate of fire on full auto. Metal Upper receiver and folding stock.
Pros:
Accurate
Metal Upper Receiver
Included battery
Good rate of fire on auto
Great price
Cons:
Haven't seen any cons yet
I'm not a fan of AEP's but my son loves it.
JG SCORPION R2 - AEG PISTOL (SMG) 260 fps out of the box w/.20 Accurate to 50ft for heads, and can easily hit at 100 on torsos. Hop is useless. Just leave it on the base setting. It works to flatten the shot even set to 0. If you turn it on, it slows the shot, and it is already so slow it can't loft properly.
It is quiet, small, and the magazine holds 50 rounds. 18-24 per wind.
Pros:
It points well, it has full auto. The battery lasts a longtime( 7 -50rd mags and more. )
I recommend it to anyone looking for a sniper secondary weapon.
I wouldn't say it's capable of brush fighting like my JG M5K is, but it will get the raiders off you as you relocate.
I ditched the orange muzzle device and the stock. Im placing this SMG in my plate carrier's kangaroo pouch as part of a snipers load out. My extra mag rides in a kydex taco, high left.
Cons:
Lets talk about that metal outer barrel they include. It is designed to replace the orange outer barrel mounted on the smg. they use glue to mount the plastic orang outer barrel. I had to disassemble the SMG, remove the inner barrel. Cut the orange device off at the uppers base, and take a small jewelers file -quartering the leftover plastic inset from the inside out. Once I had my cuts down to the threading, I simply pushed the 1/4 pieces up off the threads, scraped off the glue, reassembled it, and screwed the metal outer barrel on. It looks good and it is more robust.
I'm not gonna take any points away for this, most people are just gonna leave that plastic on.

Staff Answer:
Any of the short ones that don't take up too much rail real estate. Keep in mind that a long vertical grip will interfere with the magazine. Example: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=7730 3982 days ago 0
