JG is a well known leader in the Chinese airsoft market. They truly made a name for themselves in 2008 by supplying the global airsoft market with top quality AEGs from China at extremely affordable prices. At the time when JG broke out onto the market, the standard model airsoft guns were Tokyo Marui and Classic Army M4's that were nearly double the price. JG was able to fill a hole in the market that allowed players to enter the sport that they had an interest in without absolutely ruining their wallet.

The JG AUG is another high quality Bullpup style AEG. The Bullpup design allows for the inner barrel of the airsoft gun to be a full length while keeping the overall length of the airsoft gun shorter than a standard M4. As such, the magazine sits behind the trigger mechanism, thus adding extra length to the inner barrel, increasing accuracy and range in a compact rifle. The externals of this rifle are built from polymers, which helps keep weight low but remain rigid and solid. Internally, the JG AUG features a full metal gearbox and the well known high torque JG motor.
