According to the manufacturer, the purpose of the R-hop patch is to produce an extended contact with the bb for more gentle and precise acceleration resulting in longer flatter trajectories which are far more accurate and more tolerant of inconsistencies within the bb. The issue with many hopups is that those that seal very well usually do not apply backspin well and vice versa, so this system separates the two allowing previously unattainable levels of accuracy in high power long range guns. The "IR" in the name stands for "ice" and indicates cold weather tolerance, so the IR-hop works in effectively all temperatures. What sets the Z kit apart from other R-hop kits is that each of the patches is cut slightly differently to ensure that one of them is sure to fit your barrel correctly. Installation of this patch needs to be very precise, and professional installation is highly recommended.

Product Information:
Great but really hard to install. This will increase the effective range and consistency of your gun. Worked great for mine. My KWA CQR Mod 1 came with a bad hop up and I had to replace it, luckily I found this.

Very, very hard to install and potentially risky to install if you mess up

This is a great kit if you're interested in the r hop system. This set comes with almost everything to be installed. This is a tricky process to install, but if you know what you're doing, or know someone that can install this, you won't be dissapointed.

-nice set of r hops
-can be used in cold

there is two cons about this product. first being price, for the price you'd expect to get more than 3 peices of rubber, but they do exactly what they're made to, and thats to increase range. the next is the installation process. it is very tedious and time consuming. if you don't know what your doing, you could also risk damaging the barrel in the process, be very careful when installing, or have someone who knows how to do it.

The Z kit is very easy to install, and will work for great for those of you playing in snowy environments. These things work wonders! Check my review on the Lancer AK74 w/ RIS! These are come in varying depths, so just cut them to the size of your hop up window and see which one is flush with your inner barrel, then file the outside with a dremel to speed things up and finish up with some 300-400 grit sandpaper, then your done! May need to pop it open again and file it some more if you don't file it enough to begin with. Works great in my M4 too, with the same results as my AK. I am able to hit a 7'x7' target everytime with .30 Bioval BBs..
As a side note to ASGI.... please consider stocking Hunterseeker's barrel laping kits. I don't really want to buy them from other places, and its kind of like polishing a barrel but a bit better.

Use hard buckings with no added repercussions
Amazes people with your range and accuracy in a cheap gun
3 to install in either 3 different guns, or you have extra if you mess up on your first try
