Hatch XTAK Knee Pads (ACU)
[S02D19][08990 / XTAK300]Hatch XTAK pads are the lightest and strongest product of it's kind ever produced. The hard thermal plastic urethane layer shaped like an 'X' on the outside of the pad create a reinforced protective layer that also bends with the arm. The shock absorbing high density foam provide excellent protection, and the Coolmax moisture wicking lining on the inside help provide additional comfort to the wearer. The straps to secure the XTAK to the wearer are made of spandex so they stretch and secure with Veclro panels. The Hatch XTAK design represents a whole new level of tactical protection.

first of all, these are amazing knee pads. I had originally used a set of normal knee pads with the rubber padding on the top of the knee, but if I needed to go in for a slide to get from one position the rubber would catch on a smooth flooring so I would have to try and roll with no momentum to help me get through the last couple inches. These knee pads fix that by using a smooth plastic/polymer knee pad to keep from catching in a sliding action, but at the same time the point the pads go into make it good for digging into dirt environments to get a solid kneeling stance.
Then comes the fixture, these are some of the most comfortable pad set ups that I have ever used. Due to the angled design they are very comfortable to move around in as well as dropping down to get to a kneeling position in a quick speed without damaging anything on the product or your knee.
Pros:
Amazing comfort on the knee both in movement and in kneeling.
Works great to get a solid aim when kneeling
great use of the smoother polymer/plastic on the pad. Great for sliding.
Cons:
it doesn't come with free bacon.
Great quality for a great price. The quick detach straps are a nice addition. Light weight and looks great. Anyone likes the look of ACU should have these as their knee pads.
Pros:
Easy to adjust
Great Quality
Looks great
Light weight
Quick detach straps means you can adjust it once and then never touch the velcro again
Cons:
Pants bunch up, but that's pretty much par for the course when it comes to knee pads
A few dollars more expensive than other options, but well worth it.
