Description:
The new HFC HG 160 is full of new features that are not commonly found on airsoft gas blowback pistols. The full metal construction gives the gun a very sturdy and realistic weight and feel. The barrel comes stock with a threaded adaptor for barrel extensions. The breakdown and internals are very similar to that of the M9 series pistols. This is a great compact pistol to hide in your gear for scenario games/hostage games.

I was weary of buying another HFC after my last one broke in less than a year of use, but after buying and using this beauty I can safely say otherwise. The balance is good, very comfortable to hold and the blowback is surprisingly crisp. The full auto is fun, but like any automatic pistol, don't plan to really hit anythign if you just lay on the trigger.
Pros:
Full metal.
Fair price
DOES lock back on the last shot every time, evne in rapid fire AND full auto firing.
the safety lever is very stiff at first, but once broken in, it has a nice "click" inot place and does not jog itself loose while firing.
Cons:
Very small magazine-unable to use standard m9 mags.
The supposedly threaded barrel is most definately not threaded. It is merely a peice of orange platice that is threaded. I am displeaded to sya that when I screwed a suppressor on, it fell off form the weight.
Notacibly shorter than an M9, so an aftermarket threaded barrel for an M9 will not work for this gun.
No white dots on the fornt or rear sight posts.
This gun is modeled after the Stoeger Cougar, google that for more info on the gun. I like to research the gun's modeled history usually before buying. However, this time was different. I went into airsoft gi and I was going to buy a top seller hand gun and that was it. Then I saw this beauty through the glass it caught my eye because it was just so nice and unique. It wasn't like the other guns, it was kind of like seeing a revolver amongst 1911's. It is full metal and a good blowback. Feels really excellent when you hold it. The full metal is just so well made and crafted it feels like a real gun. I let a friend at work hold my gun and he said it felt like the real thing and he's a gun enthusiast. The clip is full metal, the grip is the only thing that is ABS plastic but it is very high grade ABS. Not sure if you can find handle grips for this gun because of the lack of interest this gun carries. Full auto is very nice although I read a review saying that this gun has a fetal flaw where one of the pieces under full auto shatters and the only way to replace it is to buy a salvaged gun and salvage the part. The semi auto fires nice, accurate enough, although I do see some of BB's flying everywhere. The slide locks when out of ammo which is nice. If it doesn't it's because you are using less than .12's and it could mess up the spring, all you need to do is put some pressure to get it to it's right position. The breakdown is simple like on a Beretta.
4/5.
This is a very good gun and would make a nice secondary and a collectors item.
Pros:
Full Metal. EXCELLENT.
Blowback is nice.
Textures and quality is excellent.
Functional safety
Functional slidelock
Easy ammo discharge
Orange tip VERY EASY TO COME OFF! Just pull on it.
Back pistol hand indention feels soo comfy.
Double action trigger.
Feels small in my hands.
Cons:
The slidelock and the part where the trigger moves on the right side of the gun becomes flush. The metal will soon start to show its light greyish / silver color.
I thought that the gun was Olive Drab but I was sadly mistaken.
The spider logo, it's neither cool nor bad.
Sometimes inaccurate.
Lack of aftermarket parts for this gun. I don't even think I can upgrade it.
Cannot attach a silencer on it because of the orange tip. The ONLY way to attach a silencer on it is to glue the orange tip on. It's a trade off.
Safety is often hard, still havn't broken it in yet.
this gun is great, best pistol ive ever had except it only lasted about 4 weeks before a little thing connected to the trigger stoped working. you had to tip the gun to the side to make it shoot. i figured how to fix buy putting a piece of rolled up paper and glueing it to the bottem of the thing connected to the trigger but then a little spring broke and the trigger stays back and you have to push it forward to shoot again and then the seel on the clip broke and you cant shoot it. so if you r u looking for a gun that will last a few weeks and be the best for that time then this is the best, but if you want a long lasting one then dont get this one.
Pros:
very realistic and fun to shoot nice full auto
Cons:
not durable and breaks very easy, doesnt last long.
