Based on the ever popular 1911A1, the HFC Non-Blowback HG121B is quite the performer out of the box. Constructed mostly of metal with wood grain plastic handles, the pistol runs off of Green gas, which propels its action. The excellent metal build quality produces a nice weight and potent hand feel for this pistol, even before you take your first shot.
This airsoft pistol is powered by green gas, but does not have a blowback feature. Since this pistol utilizes a non-blowback design, it is quieter than most other gas powered pistols. Having a non-blowback design also increases gas efficiency since it isn't requiring movement of a heavy metal slide to operate.Specifications:

This is a simple nbb pistol from hfc. The gun has a fixed hopup (seems set for .20's) and a long, heavy trigger pull when fired double action (typical of nbb guns). Unlike many gas pistols, the gas reservoir is not located in the magazine; you inject gas directly into the bottom of the grip frame. The magazine is a basic stick magazine; it works well, but some will be bothered by the lack of a functional magazine release. Lack of parts availability is an issue, but when you can buy a whole other gun for $20, it's not a big deal.
Pros:
Inexpensive, with adequate sidearm performance
Hammer CAN be cocked to lighten trigger pull
1911 style makes finding a workable holster easy
Solid feel despite plastic construction
Cons:
spare magazines seemingly unavailable everywhere
no mag release; you pull the mag out the bottom by the baseplate
Silver-tone paint isn't the most attractive
