Product Information:
I bought my first rifle off of this site, and its still running two years later with almost no upgrades. cant say enough good about it. However, when I got this piece for my M14, I was rather disappointed to see that the spring wasn't the right size. it was to short for the part that causes tension against the gearbox. because it was to short, I am forced to buy another, and pay shipping again. worst of all, is that there is no warranty covering these pieces so i basically lost money.There is nothing wrong the the anti reversal latch itself.the latch itself is a single piece of metal, not sure of what make.
Pros:
pro- though the only piece I needed was the spring ( I already had the latch), i now have a back up latch, in case the one in my gearbox spontaneously combusts, which would lead me to have bigger problems. if your in need of just a latch, by all means, this is a decent deal.
Cons:
Cons- the spring wasn't the right size, it wasn't long enough, even when compared to the picture, it wasn't the same lengh. it looks to be about a third of the length of the one in the picture. if your looking for anything besides a latch, not a good deal.
