I am completely blown away by the quality of this case. I was expecting something cheap when I ordered one off of the GI Shockers page. Man, was I wrong. The stitching on this thing is solid, and it is built like a tank. The front pocket is surprisingly large, so you can fit eight M4 style mags if you want to. The attachment system is made of two simple straps of velcro, which keep your rifle in place very well. Overall, I highly recommend this rifle case.
Pros:
- Durable
- Easy to use
- Fits standard 16 inch barreled rifles
- Padding is thick enough to protect the rifle from bangs and scrapes.
- It's 26 dollars!
Cons:
- Padding could be a bit thicker, but it isn't a deal-breaker.
- Gryffon doesn't make a double rifle case like this
Just got the Gryffon 36" Aerie Rifle Case in the "Too Cheap to be True Mystery Box". The case/bag as a whole, in terms of quality, is pretty great. The material used is good enough to store most airsoft guns. The design however, is terrible. The retention straps inside, are on the wrong side, as is the pouch on the outside. So everything is basically upside down. Which is kinda dumb. When you want to store or remove your gun, you have to place it pouch side down to have it open properly. Also the Velcro straps don't hold the rifle in place very well at all. It has too much room to wiggle around. The lining on the inside feels very cheap too and is another reason why the gun slides around. But it's whatever. I needed a gun bag at some point and now I have one. Afterall it's a $25 gun bag and you get what you pay for.
Pros:
Good materials used (minus the interior lining and bad velcro straps)
Cons:
The entire design
The material used on the inside
Doesn't really secure your rifle that well
The price. $25 isn't a lot of money, but it is too much for this.
Nice gun bag fits my guns and isn't to tactical
